We have moved the Walk for the River to Sunday October 18th from October 11 due to the rainy weather forecast.

Please walk with NYC Friends of Clearwater on Sunday, October 18, 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m. We meet at the benches near the #1 train just north of the Staten Island Ferry terminal. We will walk along Battery Park and then north up the walkway alongside the Hudson River ending at the North Cove and the Brookfield Place outdoor plaza.
We would like to get friends, musicians, and activists to join us for a 3K walk along the Hudson River. We walk to educate people about our mighty river while we raise our voices in song (acoustic instruments welcome). NYCFC is a local affiliate of the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc. Through education, advocacy, and celebration, NYCFC works to preserve and protect the Hudson River, New York Harbor, and the environment in the New York metropolitan area.
