We dedicate our sail this year to Roy Felshin, our dear, recently passed, president and wonderful activist for peace and the environment. This is an opportunity to sail on the historic sloop that “was built to save the river”! Clearwater the boat, and the organization, have an important place in the legislative history that brought the Clean Water Act into reality. By joining us on the sail you become a member of the local sloop club, and help support both organizations, NYC Friends of Clearwater and Hudson River Sloop Clearwater.
